Any other teenagers like this?
I'm only 16 but I can't wait to have a baby!
I do guycare at school and everyday when I am in that class learning about it, I get so excited!
Obviously i'm not going to have one now, I'm waiting till my early 20's to do that. I'm not one of those teens who thinks because they want one, they can have one without thinking of the consequences and the life they can provide for their baby. That's selfish.
But aah I really want one haha. I know how much hard work they are and that they aren't just a cute toy to play with (some people seem to be under that impression..)

But I just wanted to know if anyone else is like this? Or if any moms were like this in their teens?

Man I hate being impatient.
Well thats good you know to wait until your older and also it's good you read about it so that way your more educated when your ready =]]. I'm seventeen and adsolutely love guys and want one of my own one day but i'm also waiting til i'm older. Ever since my niece was born which was June 29th. I don't feel the need to have one anytime soon. I take care of her and see her mostly everyday so it's like she's my own. Also I'm going be her nina her God Mother so it's even better =D. I'm sure you'll make a great mom when your more older and mature =D.
Teens who babysit?
Ok, so my mom went to this BBQ with her friends (Who have lots of younger guys) and she brought a poster I made for my babysitting "carrerr". (LOL! Not a carrerr I'm 12.) And I'm SOO nervous about doing this. Some of the guys I met at the last BBQ were SOO cute and sweet! And I know they occationally might get mad! I've never babysat, except for my little brother. But my 16 year old sister is doing it with me too. How well do you think this is going to go? I mean, we have lots of pactience, and were responsible, I can cook a lot of things that guys like. (I LOVE COOKING!) And were sweet. Is it really hard to babysit? What do you do with guys? And what ages are they? Do they cry lots? Should I bring toys or something? What would you parents say if I painted at girls nails if there 8 or 11 or something? HELP! SCARED!

If they do cry, what do you do to make them happy? (What ages should I do different things?)
it's not hard to babysit. you don't need to bring anything the first time, wait till you know the guys a little better. then you can start bringing some picture books or toys or games to play with them, once you have an idea of what they will like.

so with younger guys, you read to them, you tickle them. follow their lead and do what they want to do. parents will probably want to hire more experienced sitters for guys 4 and younger, though. but if you do get hired to watch guys that age ... drawing is good, it keeps them occupied. puzzles, building blocks, play-doh, dolls are all good games. the younger guys might freak out when their parents leave. if that happens, gently pull them into your lap and read their favorite book to them, or tell them a story. it'll calm them down.

if there aren't a lot of toys, improvise. maybe float paper boats in the sink, or have crab walking races. teach the guys to do handstands and how to cartwheel. this stuff all works for goofy younger guys. guys love contests. i have water drinking contests with the guys i babysit, we fill up cups of water and drink as fast as we can. be aware though that they may choke on the water, so be prepared to help them then. if you're gonna do races and contests, don't let siblings get too competitive with each other. and lose on purpose sometimes. good ideas for contests are standing on one foot contests, holding your breath contests, how long can you go without laughing while being tickled contests, staring contests. little guys can be sensitive about losing, especially to their siblings. keep an eye out for that, and if it becomes too competitive break it up.

for older guys ... teach them origami, watch a movie with them. if the girls want you to paint their nails, go for it! they already own the polish, so their parents are okay with nail polish. 8-10 year old girls will think you are really cool. that age group really looks up to cool older girls. so if you're sitting a girly 9-year old, offer to do her hair if you're good at that kind of stuff. 9 year old girls generally love things like that. older guys, like 8-10, might also like playing cards. it sounds weird, but try teaching them some simple card games like BS. or just build a house of cards.

basically follow the guys lead. they might want to draw or play or whatever. be flexible and go with that.
ALL TEENS+PARENTS: What do you think of this? PLEASE READ!!!?
Recently, the lingerie and clothing company Victoria’s Secret has become more suggestive with their products. No, I am not talking about the regular Victoria’s Secret; I am talking about Victoria’s Secret Pink-which is intended for younger women and teens. I came across a few products that carried phrases like “I’ll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours”, “I Love French Kissing”, “Let’s Make Out”, “Your Place Or Mine?”, “Let’s Go All the Way”, “Sure Thing”, “Pin Me Down”, “French Me”, “Let’s Get Naked”, “Wild In Bed”, and “Sleep With Me”. Needless to say, this made me raise my eyebrows, as I’m sure this made you raise yours.
You might be asking yourself what is suggestive about the phrase “Sure Thing”. The phrase “Sure Thing” is a phrase that was used in the 80’s that identifies a person who will definitely have sex, without any hassles. Ask yourself; would I want my 13 year old daughter walking around in a shirt that is basically saying she’s easy?
What surprised me about this newfound sexuality is the fact that the text on their products had never been suggestive in the past. I should know; I’ve been following the Pink line since I was 12, in 2007. How do we go from “Be Happy” to “Pin Me Down”?
I also saw that the company began using the phrase “Kiss This” placed over the behinds of pants and panties. I thought this was quite clever and cute. But then, I saw a picture from an upcoming collection that had the phrase “Kiss This” on the front of the panties; right on the crotch. Are they suggesting what I think they’re suggesting?
Why is there an excess of these ostentatiously sexual products being sold by this company? Are they trying to imply that the only thing that girls want to do is get laid? Do they believe that all girls care about is boys and the actions they want to do with them? I didn’t see any products talking about careers, grades, or any future aspirations. There were no “Ivy League Bound” or “A+ or Bust!” phrases to be found. Yet, you can find numerous products that talk about everything from first base to home.
When I decided to ask a few people for opinions on the suggestiveness of products, one person said “Well, the phrase ‘Let’s go all the way’ is from a song.” Yes, it is from a song, and that song is about having sex for the first time, as a teenager. Another person pointed out that if a person is reading someone’s underwear, it is likely that they’ll probably be doing the actions that are described in the text, so it might be meant to be silly. This might be true, but I wonder why the company decided to go from a G rating to a PG-13 rating? To possibly sell more because they believe that being racier will raise sales?
I would expect suggestiveness of the like from the regular Victoria’s Secret line, which sells lingerie. But, ironically, the text on the panties from the lingerie section tend to read things like “Boy Toy”, “Hottie”, “Hi Cupcake”, and “Do You Believe In Magic?”. All of these are relatively innocent, yet these panties are aimed towards older women, and the suggestive phrases are aimed towards younger women.
Why is there a suggestion of, and even perhaps, encouraging of sex to young women and teenagers, especially seeing the high statistics of teenage pregnancy? If anything, they should be putting phrases like “Modest Is Hottest”, “Don’t Count On It”, “Saving Myself For A Rockstar”, “I’m Worth The Wait”, “In Your Dreams” and “Virgin Vamp” on products to encourage good moral character. And even “You Can Look, But Don’t Touch”, if they are bent on quoting pop songs.
Now, I’m not trying to be a prude. I like midriff tops, belly rings, and tight jeans as much as the next girl; but I think Victoria’s Secret needs to reassess who their audience is, and think about the message they want to send to impressionable minds, especially seeing how America’s education level is so inferior compared to other countries. I’m sure that Adriana Lima, who has been a Victoria’s Secret Angel for the past 10 years, and is a supporter of abstinence until marriage would agree with me.
I feel that using this type of language on tops is a glamorization of sex that is done in a seemingly innocent manner. For example, one shirt that says “I Love French Kissing” has a pink heart on it that is adorned with rhinestones. The style of this top is not seductive in appearance. It is not a sheer top, and it is not low cut. It is a baseball style shirt that is meant to be worn as a pajama top. Some people might say that it is not meant to be seen in public, and is therefore a justifiable piece to be worn in the privacy of one’s own home. But, if you take a simple observance in any given location in the United States, you are bound to see a teenage girl wearing her pajamas out in public.
I'm not good at reactions but I assure you inside my right eyebrow was raised, the left flat.
I wouldn't want my daughter wearing that shirt, but honestly I'm thirteen and I do not think that Victoria's Secret is a store a thirteen year old needs to be shopping in when it comes to clothes!
Oh ho ho, they are suggesting EXACTLY what you think they're suggesting.
That, hun, is exactly what they're implying. Odd--I thought that was what all guys wanted...
Why do we keep saying PG-13? I'm going with an NC-17 on this one. If I ever caught my daughter in underwear depicting the phrase "Boy Toy", Idk what I'd do but it wouldn't be pretty. It wouldn't even be that she was wearing something with sexual references. Just that she was wearing something that states she is nothing more than something for a boy to play around with when he's bored. I promise you my daughter will have a teensy bit more SELF RESPECT than that.
HOWEVER-Here's where I disagree with you a little. If girls WANT to wear clothing that indicates they have no self respect-let them. I don't think that we should ever force a store not to sell something just because it indicates sex. It's all up to the girl and the parents--you can't expect the world to make itself modest and save for you.
HOWEVER-Jeez, I keep rereading them and I just LOVE your phrases here -“Modest Is Hottest”, “Don’t Count On It”, “Saving Myself For A Rockstar”, “I’m Worth The Wait”, “In Your Dreams” and “Virgin Vamp” on products to encourage good moral character. And even “You Can Look, But Don’t Touch”,- They're all funny, and I have a very modest friend who I could totally see wearing the Saving Myself For A Rockstar or Don't Count On It shirt. And I would totally wear them. :D. I think you should start a clothing line with cute but not so perverted clothing for young girls. I'm serious! I want this shizz on the market! (Sorry for cursing...)
PLEASE :D
Why is Justin Bieber famous only for his looks, not talent? What happened to the good old days of good music?
Note: this is written by a teen girl just in that range of Bieber fanatics, so here's a change of things. What I think.

Justin is only famous because all these little teen girls fall in love with his looks and are all like "OMG he's so cute!" and then immediately fall in love with him, regardless of his voice. If I remember, back in the 80's and all that people were famous for talent, and it was just a coincidence if you were hot. You only made it in the business if you HAD talent.
Now, if you are a boy and semi-cute, you're instantly famous, even if you can't sing. I read an article in my newspaper one time where it said Justin Bieber's voice is the most electrically-altered and digitally produced voice in the whole music business today. I thought there was a time when everyone had talent, and you didn't have to be a teen boy to become famous! What happened to the greats??? Even great shows like "American Idol" and "America's Got Talent" are starting to be affected by this "teen girl vote", cute boys instantly beating talented people, regardless of talent. Luckily in the times I've seen this happen, the true talent soon shines through, and I'm very glad. Ever noticed that we haven't seen many "greats" lately? Back in the 50's, we had Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, in 60's we had the Beatles and the Stones, in the 70's we had Led Zepp and many great Funk artists, in the 80's, we had Michael Jackson, Queen, KISS, Def Leopard, more Led Zepp, David Bowie, and many many more, and in the 90's we had a few really good people like Toby Keith etc....but soon everything just kinda slipped. There's some stars now like Lady gaga, Taylor Swift, and Adam Lambert just to name a few who are trying to bring back that old time of good music and true talent BACK. You also see all these new bands giving it a go, actually having good talent and potential. And then you see Justin, a boy who I say only became famous from looks, not talent. Listen to him live and you'll understand. Anyone could replace him instantly as the new boy toy, and I'm sick of it.

Bring back good music, I say. Stop cheep knock offs like Justin from being famous for no reason and let true singers shine for their talent. Bring back the past, music world. Please.

All Justin lovers, if you have a good rebuttal to this please state what you want to say, but please do not go "because he's so cute we love him" or some other reason like that, please have it be about his talent. All I'm trying to do is show that if Justin was compared to any of the music of the 80's, he would fall short. It's my opinion though, so feel free to state your opinion. Just be kind and fair, giving a good reason.

So, what say you? You agree or disagree?
Wow! I dont know who you are but you are freaking AWESOME!!!
I agreeeeeee:)
Your are so right, the guys only famous cuz girls freak out about his looks. Is he talented? In your opinion, no, but I might go out on the limb and say he has potential. It just depends on your taste in music I guess.
But your so right about his looks, if he was an 80 year old, bald, and obese, I am positive his fan base would be extremely smaller.
But just like with Aaron Carter, Back Street Boys, New guys on the Block, the power of teenage girls obssession has the power to make "cute" and "hot" boys famous, despite talent.

I think he is taking advantage of girls by singing about love and saying he wants to meet everyone of his fans in person. I think its all for his "image". And its kinda sad that girls are wasting there money on a guy who doesn't give a rats a$$ about them, instead of funding charities, and changing the world creating a better place.

I like how you say anyone could replace him. He is the definition of BOY TOY. Play with him till you get bored, then move on to the next "cute and talented" teenage sensation. History proves this-New guys on the block-perfect example.

Ultimately when we get tired of hearing about this "dreamy hunk" all we have to do is put up another tween sensation.
Xmas gift for boyfriend's family?
Before we started dating [four months tomorrow], my man and I have been best friends all throughout high school so I've met his family over the years, but I've just started getting real close to them since we've been dating.

I can think of some things they would like but I was looking for extra ideas. Here's the info:

Dad - construction worker, absolutely loves making his own fleece blankets, very arts&craftsy, loves building things like desks, very hands-on, has a good heart.. really wants to meet my family but my family is very private because we are foreign [from Croatia]. any ideas for something family-related? their family is all about the joining of our two families but my family isn't really interested in who i'm dating until like they see a ring on my finger, haha.

Mom - works at hobby lobby, collects mugs, collects souvenirs a lot [they travel quite a bit] especially unique ones, is originally from michigan, was a little troublemaker as a guy & liked to drag race haha. i was thinking of getting her a toy car as an inside joke.. any other ideas?

Younger Sister - either already 15 or nearing 15. don't know a whole lot about her except that she's a nice little girl who listens to her parents. i think she likes hannah montana but i'm not totally sure. this is really the only one i'm having trouble with.. i was thinking of giving her bath items since she's a growing teen girl.. any other cute ideas? maybe something to show her that i'm here for her as kind of an older sister?

I was thinking of sewing a pillow with the dad's name on it.. since he's into that kind of thing.
Also, I recently drew a picture of my boyfriend.. I'm an artist [mostly drawing, sometimes painting]. I'm just a beginner so it's not a great drawing but at least you can sort of tell that it's him, ha ha. If I perfect the drawing a bit more, I was going to maybe give that as a gift.. but would that be kind of weird?

Anyway, just throw out your ideas!
Oh & I'm kind of going for homemade ideas.. not just something to buy, since they appreciate unique things.
for the mom you could get her a personalized mug. like a merry christmas mug with her name since she collects them or you could buy a mug and persoalize it yourself.
i got my boyfriends younger sister lotion and body wash i think its a good idea bc every girl would use that. try talking to her more see if what kind of music or movies she likes maybe u could get her a dvd or cd
you should do the pillow idea for the dad maybe sew merry christmas into it or you could buy him a shirt or something.
Why do older gay guys think that us younger teen gays should want to be with them?
I turned down a few older guys before and they were freinds when I was exploring my sexuality.Just freinds though. Some older guys were cute but most were not. They treat me like crap now and we nolonger talk because I don't like them that way.It must be cause I turned them down.C'mon...Being a "boy-toy" is cool with a cute guy.But a grandson toy.Nope!!!We should still be able to talk.
not all of us do
Is it weird that I really, really want to be a teen mom right now?
I'm 16 years old, and just recently I found out that THREE of my friends are pregnant.
I'm seriously shocked, but kinda jealous too.
After seeing how those girls talk about baby names, and toys for their babies, and cute clothes, it really makes me wanna have a baby.
I am having sex right now, with a really steady boyfriend, with protection, but I've really been thinking about it.
My mom had my older sister as a result of rape, so I don't think that my mom would be FURIOUS, but I'm not going for fake a rape.

So is this really weird?
I'm kind of known through my group of friends as the one who goes through phases.
The wedding obsession, then the emo phase, then the bisexual phase...but I feel kinda different about this.

Help =]
i think you should wait till you are out of college and making enough money that you can support your baby and yourself without help from anyone, that's my thoughts on it anyway
Which cat should I have as a pet... I really want one!?
Please beware... This might be a long story but not as long as the other long ones but it's just to paint a picture on how I feel about this:)
i had one kitten that was in my house for about 2-3 hours because i was really little and was so scared when it yawned(after taking a nap)
XD
So yeah that was like nothing but that was the first time I had a kitten-barely-but the next time I thought I had a better understanding of them after researching them in craigslist.com with my sister. So I was so excited when we agreed to have a kitten (SO CUTE)! The lady came and gave it to us and I felt so excited but then I felt like one of those episodes of "teen mom" or something -_- Yeah life was hard but it only lasted one week...:( I MISS HER SO MUCH!!!) :'(
Now I want a kitten and I will be sure this time!!! confidence just races up me when I say this because I have done my research and I read so many books and they all had cats or kittens that lay on the main character's lap ----SO YEAH!!!
I have watched "cats 101" to know all the breeds and I have checked the website... XD
So this is the personality I REALLY WANT!!!!
Personality I want in a cat:
-Girly
-playful
- wants attention
-likes toys
-SMART AND CLEAN
-Feminine
-cute and lovable, CUTE
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
In some ways you really want a puppy.

A cats personality is formed in the early months it is with its mother, and the socialization it receives. With good socialization they will be a very affectionate and loving kitty.

There will be endless discussions about how smart cats are, and none of them will ever be settled.

But cats are clean and fastidious, regardless of breed. Kittens are playful, but that doesn't last throughout their life. In many ways, as they get older they look at a toy and figure that it is a case of 'been there, done it'. So while my almost 15 year old cat still grabs at a string, it is not with the vigor my younger cats attack the same string.

And some want attention, and some don't. There is a saying. Dogs come when called; a cat will take a message.

All kittens are cute, and they grow fast. Then, beautiful and pretty are usually used, rather then cute, although they can do cute things.
My parents divorced a year or two ago im very upset still. how can i get over this depression? please help?
im 15 years old my parents divorced around late 2007. We had a very happy life until that year when my parents announced the divorce. it didnt affect affect me and my 5 1/2 year old brother who is now 6 because my mom still lived with us in our appartment and my dad just simply moved into his own appartment. i saw each of them throughout the week. it didnt affect me all up through that year. we celebrated our last christmas together which i wasn't aware of. we had happy holidays all the way through summer. at the end of summer my mother announced she was moving out. i would go with my mom and brother to her new boyfriend's house to live there. it was all too soon. i didnt want to leave my home town and family here they were going to move up state. i descided to stay with my father and my brother and mother left. i see my brother for about 1 1/2 days every weekend and mother 1 1/2 days every other weekend. What really upsets me is our open appartment most of our furnuture is gone. the christmas tree we had no longer is with us and the room is empty still today. just blank room. my brothers room is now my dad's room no longer filled with my little brothers toys. you have to realise that even though we didnt have much in our little appartment, we were filled with alot of warmth and love. my brother always had his tv playing his cute little movies. they are all gone and trashed. i came across some toys i had as a guy that was among the toys in my brother's old room. memories started to fly through my head. i came across his teddy bear he made when he was about 4 with me at a build a bear work shop years ago. he loved it soo much. i was supprised he left it with me. I sat there and broke in to tears for a while. i found some of his toys. I dont understand why i cry about this once or twice a week. it happens all the time. my brother isnt affected by it alot he lives with my mom and step dad now who was my mom's boyfriend he is nice. i live with my dad and my dad's girlfriend moved out because of fighting with dad. i didnt like her. All this makes me very sad. What really makes me sad is seeing the pictures of my cute little brother at young age i have in my tool box. it makes me break into tears along with the toys he left behind. how can i get over this? any help please! any sites i can llook on? i found this site where i highlites this paragraph i found this very like sounds what i explained here .... this is what i coppied word for word....It can be difficult or impossible for a guy to feel settled when their physical environment is changing all the time. When guys become teens, their social network can become seemingly more important than their familial network and being taken away from sports, activities and friends to spend equal time in another environment will often not work at all. Those are all factors that most parents can't control unless they live in the same area as each other. ..... any help appreciated thanks.
Hey, you stand Tall, or fall low.

Your obviously a tough guy, and you need to remain that way bro.
